What is Financial Planning?
In simple terms, a Financial Planner will ask you about your goals and create a plan to help you reach them through efficient management of your finances.
Planners assess your current financial situation and identify areas for improvement. This could involve calculating how much you need to save for retirement, tax and estate planning, financial education or simple things like agreeing how much you should be saving each month.
The Financial Conduct Authority do not regulate tax and estate planning.
