Create “Elves” deliver festive food donation for local charity

We were delighted to spread some Christmas cheer through supporting local charity Portlethen Larder with a food donation last week.

The Larder provides essential support to the local and surrounding community through offering fresh and non-perishable food to local families struggling financially.

It’s a community group, run by wonderful volunteers, who support around 100 people each week. Open to anyone in the community who needs it, the Larder also works to combat food waste with providing supermarket surplus fruit, vegetables and other fresh goods through FareShare.

Anne, a volunteer from the Larder commented, “A huge thank you to your team for your amazing donation. It’s really appreciated, donations from local businesses help us to support people struggling at this busy time of year.”
