Congratulations to Alan on Qualifying as a Financial Planner

We are delighted to congratulate Alan on qualifying as a Financial Planner after successfully completing his Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Alan joined Create in late 2024 as a trainee straight from university and has since completed an intensive 18-month training programme through Quilter. During this time, he has undertaken technical exams, shadowed our experienced Financial Planners and developed the client relationship skills needed to support individuals and families with their financial planning.

Reflecting on his achievement, Alan said: “Going through the Quilter training programme over the last 18 months has been a huge learning curve. Coming from a Computer Science background, financial services were completely new to me, but I’ve found the whole experience really interesting.”

Throughout the programme, Alan has gained hands-on experience while building the technical knowledge required to become a qualified planner. His dedication and enthusiasm have made him a valued member of the team, and we’re excited to see him take the next steps in what promises to be a rewarding career.

Alan added: “I’m grateful to Lachy and Stuart for pushing me to learn more and giving me such a wide range of opportunities. I’ve been able to learn something new every day. Going forward, I’m confident I can add real value to our clients by applying everything I’ve learned so far. Whether it’s helping clients make the most of tax allowances or simplifying financial jargon so they feel reassured and confident about their finances, I’m really looking forward to going the extra mile for every client I work with.”
